Aurora, also known as Sleeping Beauty or Briar Rose, is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Productions' animated film Sleeping Beauty (1959). Voiced by Mary Costa, Aurora is the only child of King Stefan and Queen Leah. An evil fairy named Maleficent seeks revenge for not being invited to Aurora's christening and curses the newborn princess, foretelling that she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel's spindle and die before sunset on her sixteenth birthday. Merryweather, one of the three good fairies, weakened the curse so Aurora would only sleep. Determined to prevent this, three good fairies raise Aurora as a peasant in order to protect her, patiently awaiting her sixteenth birthday—the day the spell can only be broken by a kiss from her true love, Prince Phillip.

Eloise Masse is a French girl I met at the Venice Carnevale 9 years ago. She comes to the Carnevale almost every year and she is a familiar face at all the most extravagant parties at the Venice Carnevale. Sleeping Beauty is a favourite theme for her many dresses. This shiny dress is this year's costume of Aurora.

The Venice Carnevale is not solely about masks. Local Italians and an increasing number of foreign costumers prefer historical costumes or painted faces. During Carnevale, the whole Venice becomes a real life theatrical stage, and many of these historical costumes carry deep perspectives...

And as usual, the portraits are just done on the busy streets of Venice and using natural lighting only...It is not an indoor photo studio, there is no artificial lighting, flash or reflectors...With my costumed friends, we just take our street portraiture to an all new level....

Congratulations on such an impressive achievement. The https://cabriostructures.com/ post does a wonderful job capturing both the creative journey and the recognition earned. I remember reading a similar awards-focused feature on cabriostructures that highlighted how meaningful milestones like this can be.

Beautiful work — both visually and emotionally. The way you captured the aurora feels calm, immersive, and deeply intentional. I also enjoyed the subtle storytelling behind the images; it adds another layer to the experience. It reminded me of how visual serenity is sometimes discussed on a rosedalewellness review blog https://www.rosedalewellness.com/, where imagery and mindfulness often intersect. Truly inspiring photography.
