This is probably the country in South East Asia that is most frequented by photographers. Bali is truly scenic with all its misty rice terraces, ancient temples and stunning seascapes, whilst Jakarta has lots of nice villages. As a Portrait photographer, I prefer to hang out in any of the villages to engage the friendly locals.
