Inspired by the beloved Italian fairy tale The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi, this photographic project reimagines the legendary Fata Turchina — the Blue Fairy — not merely as a benevolent guardian, but as an ethereal being whose presence transcends the mortal world.

Her elaborate costume, adorned with delicate silver embroidery, crystalline ornaments and sweeping feathered wings, evokes the splendour of a heavenly messenger. Against the vast expanse of a star-filled night, she appears suspended between the earthly and celestial realms, a guardian of forgotten dreams and unspoken wishes.

Yet beneath her extraordinary appearance lies a profoundly human presence. Her contemplative expression suggests wisdom acquired through centuries of watching over humanity, while her delicate gesture conveys both tenderness and quiet authority.

The dramatic interplay of celestial light, deep midnight blues and intricate textures transforms the portrait into a scene reminiscent of a grand fantasy film — where mythology, theatrical artistry and fine-art photography converge.
