Beneath the glittering lights of a traveling circus moored along the misty canals of Venice, three unlikely performers captivate audiences with laughter, illusion, and spectacle. But behind the velvet curtains and painted smiles lies a secret as deep as the lagoon itself.

Chino, the eccentric ringmaster with a booming voice and a battered megaphone, once commanded the grandest theatres of Europe—until a scandal forced him into exile. Now he clings to control of the circus as both his redemption and his prison.

BianCaresi, the graceful illusionist and heart of the troupe, hides a past entwined with Venetian nobility. Her performances blur the line between magic and memory, and whispers say she can make the past appear… or disappear.

Massimo, the silent clown with a porcelain face, is beloved by audiences—but feared by those who know him. Beneath his painted grin is a man bound by a mysterious pact, one that grants him uncanny abilities at a terrible cost.
When a wealthy patron arrives with an offer to buy the circus, strange events begin to unfold: reflections move on their own in canal waters, masks appear where none were placed, and echoes of an ancient Venetian curse awaken. As tensions rise, the trio must confront their hidden pasts and the truth binding them together.
Because this is no ordinary circus.
It is a stage between worlds—where illusion becomes reality, laughter hides sorrow, and every performance may be their last.
The Venice Carnevale is not solely about masks. Local Italians and an increasing number of foreign costumers now prefer historical costumes or painted faces. During Carnevale, the whole Venice becomes a real life theatrical stage...
